Brand Creative Library
Kairos Artisan Blends
Kairos, a niche spice company catering to both weekend grill masters and avid outdoorsmen with a freezer of game meat, has collaborated with me on various projects. These projects range from full sponsorships like "Form the Storm" to more relaxed lifestyle photography and videos. Our ongoing goal is to consistently generate diverse photo and video content for Kairos and its partner brands, aiming to bolster their social media presence through strong brand relationships.
Some of my clients are more traditional and invest a lot of time into 12 photos that will be the face of a campaign, like Explore Minnesota Dreamstate or 3M Futuro and Ace Athletic Braces. Active lifestyle advertising campaigns have a consistent brand direction that aligns with the brand positioning and we spend a lot of time communicating that. These are full production photography and video shoots with treatments, location scouts, casting, stylist, hair and makeup, video village for client review, etc…
Conversely, brands like Kairos and Polaris seek assistance in building a comprehensive photo and video library. They prioritize a wide array of on-brand content over a select few key images. These shoots, often featuring athletes, business owners, or influencers, aim to capture specific content while also maximizing the opportunity to gather additional material for future use across various platforms. My background in photojournalism at The MN Daily has equipped me with the ability to capitalize on spontaneous moments, seamlessly blending brand content with storytelling.
Regardless of the scale of the project, trust between the creative and production teams is key. In these library-style shoots, where brands may have less direct oversight, clients rely on my ability to deliver a mix of brand-specific, contextual, and narrative content alongside a library of visually appealing assets.
