Photographing people on location since 2011
In June of 2011, I left corporate america to shoot photos full time. After over a decade I’m extremely proud of the body of work I’ve been able to capture and the people I’ve met along the way.
The last decade+ have taken me all over the globe shooting with CEO’s, hall of fame athletes, FKT trail runners, as well everyday people that don’t love to be on camera. People are people and I’m able to crack most personalities to help them feel comfortable on camera. On-location shooting is a favorite of mine. There’s a constant balance of preparedness vs opportunity. I like that it’s a little different every time.
We have the team to handle art direction, location scouts, permits, casting and talent licensing, full production, shoot, and post. There’s also no shame in a small and nimble crew for a large varied asset library.
Although I’m immunized with a passport in hand for pretty much anywhere, I secretly don’t mind shooting in my studio in Minneapolis. No permit deadlines and the weather is always sunny, or whatever we want it to be =)
